Drivers Wanted- Our Owner Operators are always looking for drivers-we
will be happy to place you with one of them - Bring
your MVR to 848 Villa St, Elgin 60120, and speak to a representitive to place you with an owner operator;
9am to 4pm (Mon-Fri.). MVR's may be faxed to:847-888-7675 with a contact number.
- We will place you with an owner operator that has an available car.
You will need a current 6 county map book, we recommend American Map or Rand McNally. GPS's will work
OK also. - MVR's may take up to 72 hours for an insurance approval- If
you drop a mvr off on a friday, there will be no response until Monday or Tuesday the following week.
- To
qualify, you must:
• Must be least 23 years old, must be able to speak English (all communications are through
2 way radios),
• have a current Illinois drivers license,
• provide a current MVR-( motor vehicle report)
from the Secretary of States office (within 30 days)
Must a have fairly clean driving record- NO DUI's/suspensions within
5 years; no more than 1 moving violation in 3 years. Accidents will be taken in account too. Backround checks are done through
police departments when getting permitted.
The daily lease hours are 11-12 hours per day between 4am-630am=day
shift and 5pm-630pm=night shift; the rotation gives the driver before you their 11-12 hours.The taxis are ALL p71 crown victorias.
As a taxi driver you will be an independent contractor. Your pay will come from the money you collect from the customers you
pick up (avg. 10-25 trips per shift). The other fees such as insurance, repairs, and maintenance are covered in your daily
lease rate starting at $50 per shift. We have No weekly leased take home cars right now. Looking for drivers ALL shifts.
Full time and part time drivers wanted, drive 1 day a week or 6 days; whatever fits your schedule. You will need a 6 county
map or GPS system. No MDT systems in vehicles, everything is ON AIR you can hear all the rest of the drivers in your area.
We have exteremly fast response times compared to other companies. Join a fleet that cares about its people, and doesn't saturate
areas with too many cars!
Various cities will require taxi driver permits-Elgin, South Elgin, Hanover Park, Schaumburg,
Hoffman Estates, and Crystal Lake.
