Paul Griffin, 28, of Malden, was arrested Sunday in Everett. Prosecutors say Griffin exposed himself to two women in separate incidents. The women were not passengers in his vehicle.

Griffin allegedly sped away when police tried to pull him over on Sunday. Police say he turned onto a dead end street and led police on a foot chase before he was arrested.

Griffin pleaded not guilty to multiple charges including Open and Gross Lewdness.  Griffin’s bail was set at $500 and he is due back in court on Sept. 20.

This latest case comes weeks after another Uber driver was charged with raping a teenage passenger in Everett.

Everett Mayor Carlo DeMaria, Jr., wrote a letter to Uber’s CEO calling for a meeting to discuss the establishment of a local licensing process.

“It is clear to me that the current driver screening system is simply not working, and recent ride-share legislation passed here in Massachusetts will not be implemented for several months,” DeMario wrote.
